Great Upcoming Events – Save the Dates!

Another ho-hum day, another boring t.v. show, another dull round of doing dishes.  Why not set that aside, spice things up and set aside room in your calendar for these great upcoming events?

May 7th, 2010 from noon to 6:00 p.m. – Seattle area (open to the public!)

Complimentary Wellness Spa at the RISE Exhibition space at the Seattle Design Center.  Free Wellness Spa complements of Kerala Ayurveda in a beautiful environment, surrounded by over 100 works of art from 26 up and coming area artists. Invite your friends to be pampered and enjoy wonderful art! 🙂  RISE Suite 258, Seattle Design Center, 5701 Sixth Avenue South, Seattle.  (Be sure to view my photographs on display while you are there.)

May 20th, 2010 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. – opportunity for Portland area artists

TILT Export at Art Spark:   Curatorial speed dating!  TILT Export will be looking through artist packets … come make it fun for them!  You will have five minutes with Jenene Nagy or Josh Smith to present yourself and your work in any way that you see fit.  Materials may be left with TILT after “date”!  Artists will be considered for several upcoming TILT Export: projects we are currently planning for export to other cities!

Opportunity To Be included in the slide show: Send us a 300 dpi image of a recent piece with your name embedded in the jpg. All submitted images will be projected throughout the night. Give others in the community to see what you have been up to. Several curators will be in attendance so here’s your chance. Send images to: tilt@jjfab.com with Art Spark in subject.  (My piece “Welcome to the Monkeyhouse” will be on display during the slide show.)
